Foundation & Legal Courses
Forensic principles, chain of custody and court procedure

Good technical work can still be thrown out if the evidence was handled badly, the report was unclear or the certificate was missing. These three courses cover the ground every examiner, investigator and lawyer needs before the specialist work starts: how digital evidence is found, preserved and examined, how to write a report that stands up and how Indian courts deal with electronic records.
Basics of Cyber Forensics is the starting point for beginners and needs no technical background. Forensic Report Writing and Legal & Court Procedures suit both new examiners and working professionals, including police officers, lab staff, advocates and company compliance teams. All three count towards the DCFA (Digital Forensic Analyst) certification.
